El Tablón is a beautiful cabin located just 5 minutes from the tourist town, Río San Juan. It is conceptualized as an ecological project, so it is integrated into a private estate surrounded by a palmetum and a wide diversity of protected flora and fauna, making it the ideal destination for nature lovers or people looking for some kind of rural retreat.

The spaceEach room has a private bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen, dining room and terrace are open to the patio that surrounds it, giving a more free and integrated feeling to nature. The royal palms, endemic to the area, shade most of the green outdoors and the lake-like swimming pool, transforming it into a cozy place to rest and enjoy the landscape that ends with a dash of blue from the atlantic ocean.

El Tablón is the first property with a bamboo roof in the Dominican Republic. This impressive piece adorns each space in the cabin, accompanied by a skylight in between, which allows you to enjoy natural lighting at any time of the day or night.

In the space you can find some sustainable initiatives such as vegetables beds, to which the guests have access during their stay in case they need an ingredient for the preparation of a dish.

The property was designed by one of the most recognized architecture companies in the Dominican Republic, Proyectos Integrales de Ingeniería, Arquitectura y Urbanismo (PIIAU).
